I was just looking for something to pass the early morning time. I purchased my admission ticket and went. I was very surprised at all the displays. This is perfect for families of all ages. Very impressive.

buying the GA ticket online was definitely a good decision, you still see so much of the museum! me and my boyfriend had a great time

This is quite the museum and the general admission exhibits are worth the money but we were a bit disappointed that we had to buy an extra ticket for the ancient Egyptian exhibit. The place was a madhouse and finding a place to park was difficult but I think that it just had to do with the day we went. There must have been an event at the zoo going on or something because they had roads blocked with traffic cops directing everyone around and several buses were unloading people at the museum ( which is across the street from the zoo). I definitely would recommend checking it out though if you're in the area.

We managed to pick an extremely busy day but other than having a difficult time finding a place to park we were able to get into the museum with little wait. The general admission tickets won't allow you to see the special exhibits which was a bummer but the fossil collections are well worth the price of admission.
